Overview
Radiology Technologist – Mammography travel assignment in Portland, OR. Start date 09/28/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,668 to $2,843 per week with 36 guaranteed hours. Shift: 5x8 days, typically 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Setting: Short-Term Acute Care Hospital.

Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and screening mammography exams as ordered, ensuring patient comfort and privacy.
- Prepare, position, and image patients; operate specialized mammography equipment and assist Radiologist during intricate examinations, including breast biopsies.
- Produce high-quality images, ensure proper technique, labeling, and documentation for interpretation.
- Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines; educate patients about the exam and subsequent steps as needed.
- Obtain and communicate relevant patient information; collaborate with the radiology team and escalate questions or issues to senior staff.
- Complete required documentation and support department workflow to ensure timely exam completion.

Requirements
- Education: Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology
- Licenses/Certifications: Oregon Board of Medical Imaging Radiologic Technologist License (required in OR); ARRT Radiography (required); ARRT Mammography (required)
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor (required)
- Experience: At least two years of recent Mammography/field experience
- Other: Ability to work in a short-term acute care setting and participate in travel assignments
